Best January sales ever for Challenger and Charger part of 70th straight month of improvement.

Last time, we told you about the Challenger Hellcat we had in stock here at Barnett, and that proved to be good news for a lot of people.

For Dodge Challenger AND Dodge Charger—each of which offers a Hellcat—January brought MORE good news.

Challenger and Charger had their best first-month sales ever, the large, rear-wheel-drive cars bucking the small car trend thanks in part to low gas prices. All Dodge and Chrysler larger cars flourished, helping the company to record its incredible 70th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases, as Chrysler steps closer to a position as the leader in that category.

Traditionally, January is not a great month for sales of rear-wheel-drive vehicles. The vast majority of Chargers are rear-drive, and every Challenger is, so sales of such cars tend to slow in areas with snowy winters. That was the theory, anyway. In reality, Challenger and Charger were Chrysler Group’s first and third most popular car last month, both showing massive gains over the same month in 2015.

What makes this fact particularly impressive is that without the newness factor of 2015, when Challenger was still a hot new model and people were tripping over themselves to grab up the likes of the new Hellcat, Challenger still moved roughly 500 more units this January. The 5,085 Dodge Challengers sold last month were its best January ever, literally doubling up on several of the past Januarys since the Challenger returned to the lineup.

Dodge Charger also had its best-ever January, moving 9,164 sporty sedans to lead all Chrysler Group cars in monthly sales.

The automaker more and more comes to offer—and focus on—extraordinary larger vehicles. Chrysler’s top 11 bestselling vehicles are almost exclusively such vehicles, the list including one car, one truck, two minivans, and seven SUVs of varying sizes. While the Dodge Charger was the company’s bestselling car in January, Ram pickup, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Jeep Cherokee all outsold the Charger. So did Jeep Patriot, Jeep Renegade, Dodge Journey, Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, and Dodge Durango.

Right now, a recent Barnett special purchase includes 50 late-model, low-mileage 2015 Jeep Wranglers, offering you an incredible opportunity. These are hard to find vehicles, with savings as much as $10,000 off original MSRP! There are plenty of 2015 Grand Cherokees in the special purchase, too, also with savings up to $10,000.

Look for special offers on Jeep favorites for 2016, too, like a 2016 Jeep Patriot Latitude 4x4 for only $99 a month, or a 2016 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4x4 for just $199 a month.

And don’t forget the exclusive and FREE Million Mile Warranty on every new vehicle purchased from Barnett.
