New Chrysler, Dodge and Ram owners have plenty of reasons to smile, at least according to results of the J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Initial Quality Study.

The report, which asks customers to identify issues with their new 2014 model-year vehicles after 90 days of ownership, found the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Challenger to be the best models in their respective segments.

Chrysler's ultimate family vehicle, the 2014 Town & Country, was the highest rated minivan for the third time in four years. This result is the perfect way to celebrate Chrysler Town & Country's thirty years as one of the leading innovators in its segment. It is this combination of refinement and forward-thinking that has seen Chrysler Town & Country attract a large group of loyal and satisfied owners.

Town & Country's 2014 award sits proudly alongside its previous J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study victories in 2011 and 2013.

The iconic Dodge Challenger leads the way in J.D. Power's Midsize Sporty Car segment for the second time in four years. The legendary muscle car has once again become the standout vehicle in its segment, as well as being a symbol of the extraordinary renaissance of the Dodge brand. Muscle car enthusiasts are delighted with the world-class ride, incredible power and huge array of personalization packages that Challenger offers.

Challenger also came out on top in its segment in the 2011 U.S. Initial Quality Study.

Chrysler brands also ranked highly elsewhere in the survey, with the 2014 Ram 1500 and Dodge Grand Caravan placing among the top three vehicles in the Large Light Duty Pickup and Minivan segments respectively.
